Kaleköy - Kastro

Named after the castle located here centuries ago however, there are only castle ruins today to notice. The view from the restaurants up the hill is astonishing, especially when the sun goes down on the Aegean see.

If there weather is clear, you can see the Greek island ‘Semadirek’ on a distance. Below the hill there is a bay surrounded by the only resort hotel of the island, Gokceada Resort and  a military vacation camp where the soldiers have their vacation with their families, and a small area where you can find fish restaurants, tea and beer houses, motels and pensions along the sea.
